Join the cast of Emmerdale for The Grampian Country Fair
Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th June, 2010
B A Country Store, Lyne of Skene, Aberdeenshire
Following the world famous Emmerdale Extravaganza, the stars from ITV’s favourite soap are inviting you to join them for the most exciting and fun packed show yet. Spread over two consecutive days, set in beautiful Aberdeenshire countryside on the outskirts of the oil capital of Europe and in keeping with Emmerdale’s own rural storylines, The Grampian Country Fair is set to be the largest of its kind. The only Country Fair of its type in Scotland.
Producers are welcomed to trade at this two day extravaganza, with a dedicated Food Hall providing the perfect centrepiece to this magnificent Fair. Space in the crafts and indoor shopping marquee will also be available as well as open ground surrounding the main arenas and throughout the event. From just £3 per square metre we are inviting traders to join the stars, exhibit, advertise and sell to our keen visitors. All proceeds go to The Anthony Nolan Trust so your support will help take back lives from leukaemia.
Fashion parades, country pursuits and attractions, shooting, fishing, live music, shopping, crafts, cuisine and much more! Falconry, vintage vehicles, truck show, horses, dogs, children’s entertainments and displays, autographs, all the fun of the fair and the list goes on. Running, zip sliding, 5-a-side football and Mini Highland Games. Scottish Country Dancing, breathtaking aerobatics displays and even Wing Walking on 1940’s Bi-planes!
The previously named Emmerdale Extravaganza has always attracted phenomenal crowds and extensive media interest. It has been carried by most local and national press, oil publications and various other television, radio and media sources. Previous events have attracted media coverage from OK Magazine, Inside Soap Magazine, TV Quick, TV Times, GMTV, Yorkshire Television, Calendar Television, This Morning and Grampian Television to name a few. This is one event not to be missed!
The Charity
All proceeds will go to The Anthony Nolan Trust so your support will help take back lives from leukaemia. The Anthony Nolan Trust takes back lives from leukaemia by providing lifesaving donors for patients in need of a bone marrow transplant. Since 1974 they have helped to give over 5,800 children and adults a new chance of life thanks to the support of companies and individuals willing to give their help. They heavily rely on events such as this to fund the amazing lifesaving work they do and raise the awareness of the cause in order to recruit and fund more potentially lifesaving donors. “It’s good to be alive”, a bone marrow recipient.
