How to Recycle Plastic Bottles

Please also squash any plastic bottles you take to Recycling Points.

The more bottles we can fit on a recycling vehicle, the fewer journeys it has to make. That reduces its carbon emissions.

When to Recycle Plastic Bottles?

Collections take place every second week if you stay in an Urban Community.  Find out which day of the week your Recycling is collected by downloading a Collection Calendar.

If you are in the Weekly Recycling Trial area, your recycling collection is on the same day each week.

If you stay in a Rural Community that is not part of the Weekly Recycling Trial area, please take your recycling to your nearest Household Waste and Recycling Centre or Recycling Point.
