Kerbside Recycling in Urban Areas

Please download your Refuse and Recycling Collection calendars from the Waste Aware Grampian guide pages of this website.
To make it easier for you to recycle more of your waste, we provide every Urban Household in Aberdeenshire with a Recycling Box and a large white Paper Recycling Sack, which will be collected fortnightly.
Recycling Box – Capacity 55 Litres
Urban Communities will also receive a net or plastic cover to go over the top of the Recycling Box when put out at the kerbside for collection. This will prevent Recyclates from blowing away and causing a litter problem.

New Houses and Flats:
Residents moving into new households will receive a Paper Recycling Sack and a Recycling Box, free of charge.
Moving House:
Householders moving to a property, which does not have a Paper Recycling Sack or Recycling Box, will receive one of each free of charge.
Loss/Damage:
In the case of loss or damage we will provide a replacement Paper Recycling Sack or Recycling Box, free of charge.
