Please put your bin out the correct way for collection:
To ensure collection, all households should put their Wheeled Refuse Bin out with the handle facing away from the road and the lid closed.
Our vehicles use a side-loading system. This needs to hook under the lip on the front of your bin. It can only do this if the bin is facing the right way.
Normally one Wheeled Refuse Bin per household will be uplifted for emptying. If you feel that this service may cause you difficulty, please Contact Us for advice and assistance.
It is important that you put your Bin Sticker on your Wheeled Refuse Bin so that we know it has to be emptied.
View times your Refuse Bin should be put out for collection.
Missed collections
If we miss a collection due to severe weather, normally only during winter months, we will pick up two extra bags of refuse alongside your refuse bin on the next collection day.
This is the only time we will collect extra refuse beyond what fits in the bin with the lid closed. For missed collections at any other time, please contact the Wasteline.
