Each page on the site has a link which allows you to jump directly to the content on the page and ignore any navigation links. Users of a standard browser with images switched on will not see this link.

Screen readers such as JAWS can be used to aid those with visual or literarcy impairments, allowing users to browse the website without having to read large amounts of text.
The Aberdeenshire Council Website has achieved a high level of accessibility and has been awarded the Shaw Trust ‘Accessible’ rating as of 21st July 2010.
Shaw Trust is a national charity that provides training and work opportunities for people who are disadvantaged in the workplace due to disability, ill health or other social circumstances.
