Seasonal garden waste recycling points

The seasonal garden waste recycling points operate at a number of different locations throughout Aberdeenshire.

There are also different ways to get rid of garden waste.

What to do before and during your visit

All garden waste needs to be bagged, or in containers, to allow it to be quickly decanted into bins.

Please don't leave your garden waste at these locations when the collection service is not there. This is fly-tipping and you may be prosecuted.

Please note no trailers or vans (except car-derived vans) are allowed. 

Opening times

The service runs every year on Saturdays only, from April until either the end of October or start of November. In 2025 this is 5th April to 1st November.

Points have different opening hours, so please check locations below for more details, including any closures.
