Buying an Aberdeenshire Gift Card

Our Aberdeenshire Gift Card is one of 32 such schemes, unique to each region of Scotland, and can only be spent in businesses located in Aberdeenshire. The Gift Card is a proven way of increasing footfall and spend for participating businesses across retail, leisure, hospitality and entertainment sectors.

You can select the amount you want to load onto the card, provide the delivery, billing and payment details and the card is then posted out to you. Please note there is a cost for postage.

Buy an Aberdeenshire Gift Card

The gift card can be used in any of the participating stores across Aberdeenshire. The card can also be used online at participating retailers, as long as that retailer has a physical presence in Aberdeenshire.

There is no limit to the number of transactions or shops the card can be used in, as long there are funds in the card. The instructions on how to check the balance on the gift card are written on the reverse of the card. However, you can't top up the card with additional funds.

There is no restriction on the type of goods that can be bought using the card other than the standard age restricted products that apply to any purchases.

If you lose or damage the card the funds can be transferred to a new card, if you have the gift card number.

The gift card program utilises existing payments infrastructure using the MasterCard Network. Funds are secured in a ring-fenced FCA compliant wallet. It works the same as any other gift card and there are no additional costs for customers.
