Access free period products

We provide free period products, including reusables, to everyone who needs to access them for themselves, on behalf of others, and for visitors to Aberdeenshire.

Free period products are available:

  • In schools during term-time for pupils and staff
  • For collection in community premises across Aberdeenshire
  • By ordering online for free home delivery

Collect in the community

To access products in the community, the Pick Up My Period app provides nearby locations where you can collect free products. All premises listed are accessible to the public and include:

  • Community centres
  • Libraries
  • Sports and leisure centre
  • Vaccination centres
  • Service points

The app also contains educational resources on menstrual health, and can be used on the go to find products in the other areas across Scotland.

Order for home delivery

We encourage you to pick up products while you are out in the community if you can. However, if you struggle to do this and have no one else that it is able to do this on your behalf, you can order online for delivery to your home. This is a free service, but you must provide an Aberdeenshire postcode for delivery.

The system enables you to complete an order form for period products. The products that are available are:

  • Disposable sanitary pads
  • Tampons
  • Reusable pads
  • Period cups

You will receive a two month supply of the chosen products. These products will be sent directly to the address you have entered on the form.

We aim to get your products delivered to you as quickly as possible, please allow 4-5 weeks for delivery. However, we are aware due to peaks in demand there can be a delay on deliveries. Please bear with us while we work to resolve this.
