Reviews of UK Parliamentary constituency boundaries and Scottish Parliament boundaries are carried out periodically to take account of population changes.
2023 review of UK Parliament constituencies
Reviews are carried out by four Boundary Commissions, one for each part of the UK.
The Boundary Commission for Scotland published its Revised Proposals for UK Parliament constituencies and the final consultation stage closed on 5th December 2022. They will submit their final recommendations before 1st July 2023.

Boundaries Scotland began a Second Review of Scottish Parliament boundaries in September 2022.
