Facilities monitor
The facilities monitor records the services and facilities available in towns and villages across Aberdeenshire. A total of 179 settlements were surveyed in 2023 and again in 2025.
Some facilities may appear just outside the official boundaries of a settlement. This is because they sit close to the edge but still play an important role for the local community.

- Schools and other education facilities
- Public services
