Rent Deposit Guarantee Scheme

We run a Rent Deposit Guarantee Scheme to help individuals, couples or families renting in the private sector.

The scheme aims to help people who cannot provide a deposit and where one of the following criteria applies:

aged 16 years and over and may be homeless, or at risk of homelessness, and have received homelessness advice or assistance
assessed as living in below tolerable standard accommodation
assessed as having a high medical priority
have not accrued a debt through the scheme in the past
