Location
Greenacres is located within the rural village of Pitmedden, situated between Ellon and Oldmeldrum. There is a local convenience shop under 350 yards away, as well as a local GP medical group. The full address is:

The village of Pitmedden offers transport links to Aberdeen and Inverurie, which offer a variety of supermarkets, shopping centres and leisure facilities.
The popular Pitmedden gardens is less than a mile from the village and the National Trust property of Haddo House is also within a fifteen-minute drive.

Greenacres has twelve flats on one level, with:

Each flat has:

Greenacres is fitted with a door entry system and all properties are connected to the Community Alarm Service.
Activities
Many sheltered housing communities offer opportunities to engage with other tenants and participate in activities. The communal areas such as lounges and gardens provide space tenants can use for relaxation and casual socialising.
Activities vary from community to community, and can include:

- dominoes
- craft clubs
- concerts
Tenants are regularly consulted regarding future activities and encouraged to contribute suggestions. Available activities will be advertised on the notice board within Greenacres.
