Crichie Court sheltered housing

Crichie Court Sheletered HousingCrichie Court sheltered housing scheme is situated in a quiet location of the rural village of Stuartfield. Crichie Court gets its name from the byname for the village.

The scheme has 14 one bedroom and two two bedroom self-contained flats.

The flats have fitted kitchens, central heating and double-glazing. They are all fitted with a door entry system and are connected to the community alarm system.

Facilities at the scheme include:

  • a large communal room that can be used by all residents for catching up over a cup of tea or a friendly game of cards
  • communal laundry facilities
  • a lift allowing easy access to the upper level

There are two guest rooms available for use by relatives or friends who don't live locally.

Regular social activities can be facilitated by the Sheltered Housing Officer which includes a weekly get together for a tea or coffee and a chat.

Crichie Court is only 250 metres from the village square. The community is well served by its village shops, Post Office and butcher. The local medical practice is near the scheme.
