Invercairn Court sheltered housing

Invercairn Sheltered HouseInvercairn Court sheltered housing scheme is situated in the fishing village of Cairnbulg. It is within a minute's walk of the shoreline.

The scheme has 16 self-contained flats. Six are bed-sit types. The remaining ten have one bedroom and are suitable for two people.

The flats have fitted kitchens, central heating and double-glazing. They are all fitted with a door entry system for added security and are connected to the community alarm system.

Facilities at the scheme include:

  • two communal rooms for residents use
  • communal laundry facilities
  • a communal bathroom
  • passenger lift for easy access to upper levels

There is one guest room available for use by relatives or friends who don't live locally.

Regular social activities, which are organised by residents and supported by staff if needed, include:

  • chip shop nights
  • coffee mornings
  • day trips

Invercairn Court is well positioned within the village, being close to the Post Office, library and church. There are a number of shops that provide for daily needs including three convenience stores. Fraserburgh, with its larger selection of shops, is only five miles away and there is a regular bus service.
