Windmill Court sheltered housing

Windmill Court FraserburghWindmill Court sheltered housing scheme is situated quite close to the centre of Fraserburgh.

The scheme has 46 self-contained flats. 43 flats have one bedroom and are suitable for two people. The remaining three have two bedrooms and are suitable for up to three people.

The flats have fitted kitchens, central heating and double-glazing. They are fitted with a door entry system and are connected to the community alarm system.

Facilities at the scheme include:

  • a large sunny communal room residents can use for catching up over a cup of tea or a friendly game of cards
  • communal laundry facilities including tumble dryers
  • a lift for easy access to the upper levels

There are three twin guest rooms available for use by relatives or friends who don't live locally.

Regular social activities, which are organised by residents and supported by staff if needed, include:

  • bingo
  • chip shop nights
  • coffee mornings
  • trips and outings
  • entertainment and meals

Everything that you would expect of a busy town is no more than ten minutes walk away from Windmill Court, including the Post Office, banks, numerous shops and leisure facilities.
