Communal gardens and paths

Communal gardens

No tenant or resident has exclusive use of communal gardens and landscaped areas if they are maintained by us.

We will cut the grass and trim hedges regularly in the growing season.

You may have planted or cultivated parts of the communal garden. As long as these areas are kept tidy you can continue to look after them. But, if these areas become overgrown or neglected we will take responsibility for its maintenance.

If you want to put up a garden shed or greenhouse in communal gardens you need to get our permission first.

Paths

If you live in the middle of terraced blocks of three or more houses you normally have right of access across linked paths to public paths and roads.
