Licence application fees - changes

Application fees are different depending on a licence, permit or permission that you apply for.

Application fee is not refunded if your application is unsuccessful.

Updated fees

View the fees that apply until 31st March 2021 and the new fees applicable from 1st April 2021.

The fees agreed at the Licensing Sub-Committee on 10th February 2017 are subject to the Retail Price Index increase on the 1st April each year in accordance with our Corporate Charging Framework which was approved on 11th February 2016. 

At the Licensing Sub-Committee Meeting on the 7th of February 2020, the Committee considered all of the views, evidence and proposals which were put forward in the ‘Review of Civic Government Licensing Fees Report’ and agreed that the following fees shall take effect from the 1st of April 2021.

The next formal review of licensing fees is due to take place in 2023.
