Do you fancy taking part in a conversation about Autism?
We are pleased to announce that we plan to host an Evening Discussion/Working Group to share ideas and discuss the development of our next Aberdeenshire Autism Strategy.
We would like to welcome everyone to engage with us, including autistic individuals, parents/carers, professionals and representatives from charitable organisations.
Autistic individuals are invited to join. No formal diagnosis necessary. Individuals who self-identify as autistic are welcome.
We are interested in hearing your views on what should be in our next Aberdeenshire-wide Autism Strategy.
Topics of discussion will include:
- What have we achieved so far
- What could we do better at
- Listen to each other's experiences
- Pick out what are most important to us
Date: Thursday 23rd June 2022
Time: 6.30pm-8.30pm with a break
Held online via MS Teams
This group will be facilitated by Lynsey Stewart, formerly of Autism Network Scotland and now at L-Mac Consultancy, who self-identifies as neurodivergent.
Lynsey will be assisted by Victoria Buchan, who is a Team Manager in the Community Mental Health Team (Central), Aberdeenshire Health and Social Care Partnership
