Live Life Essentials

With the cost-of-living crisis being felt by communities, Live Life Aberdeenshire has introduced a new package of support, designed to support people with small interventions which could make a big difference.

Live Life Essentials is a new package of support, highlighting the many free services available to people and families across Aberdeenshire, to help save money and support health and well-being.

Through Live Life Essentials, people can access, for free, eBooks, eAudiobooks, eNewspapers, eMagazines, Wi-Fi, mobile device charging, showers in leisure venues and use computers to access the internet, send emails, create word documents, etc.

People who sign up will also be able to access special promotions and events at the Macduff Marine Aquarium this winter.

Live Life Essentials will be a collaboration across services to help people through this winter. It is hoped that the offering can continue to grow in the coming months.

Vice-Chair of Communities Committee Cllr Hannah Powell said: “It is very clear that people are struggling, or are worried about the struggles to come.

“Everything on offer through Live Life Essentials is freely available to anyone. Sometimes small interventions make the biggest difference to customers and it is our hope that residents find things in this package of support which can make their lives a little easier.”

An essentials membership is required to access the services, but it costs nothing and can be found at the below link. Browse the free services on offer and use the web page to find out more.
