Parking charges are to be reintroduced at pay and display car-parks from week beginning Monday, 4th January 2021.

Scale of charges
Paid parking periods
- Up to 1 hour - £0.50
- Up to 2 hours - £1.00
- Up to 5 hours - £3.00
- Up to 9 hours - £5.00
The above charges do not apply to country parks.
Payment options
We offer a range of payments options for parking charges. You can pay at machines using coins or card payment via chip or contactless technology. You can also pay via cashless parking provider, RingGo.
Pay by card
To obtain a ticket, or pay an excess charge at the instant rate using card, please follow these instructions:
- enter vehicle registration then press green button
- check registration
- select amount to pay using the '+' (plus) or '-' (minus) symbols and present or insert card for payment
- press green button to confirm transaction

- insert correct value of coins

Pay by RingGo
Cashless parking lets you pay for your parking without using a machine. This service is offered by RingGo.

Making parking payments in Turriff
Tarriffs are from Monday to Saturday, 8am to 5pm:
- Up to 2 hours - free of charge but requires a ticket
- No return for 2 hours from ticket expiry time - excess charge notice (ECN)
To obtain a ticket:
- enter vehicle registration
- check registration and press green button to confirm
- select 2 hours free parking - using the the '+' (plus) or '-' (minus) symbols
- press green button to confirm transaction
To pay ECN:
- enter vehicle registration
- check registration and press green button to confirm
- select ECN using the the '+' (plus) or '-' (minus) symbols, and make payment by coins, contactless or chip
- press green button to confirm transaction

Exemption for disabled drivers
A disabled person's vehicle, displaying a valid Blue Badge, will be exempt from payment of any parking charge.
