Road bonds and applications for Section 56 Construction Consent
These fees apply from 11th September 2023.

Excavation permits
Under Section 109 of the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991.

The inspection fees are approved nationally.
Road occupation permits
Unauthorised road occupations may result in the issue of a fixed penalty notice. The penalty will be £120 reduced to £80 for prompt payment. Consent will still be required if the occupation is to continue and the normal permit fees will apply in addition to the fixed penalty.

Charges for unauthorised housing development signs
Developers must pay a £68.57 standard charge for the removal of an unauthorised housing development sign.
Any additional signs at the same location (within 50 metres of the first sign) shall be charged at 50 percent of the standard charge. Higher charges shall apply for sign removals which are more time consuming than normal or require additional equipment.
