Day care for older people

Our Day Care Service is for older people, aged 65 or over, who are less able to get out and about, or need support to manage day to day tasks. The service provides a range of social activities for you to do during the day and can give support and advice with everyday problems.

Day Care is a place to meet and make friends in a warm, friendly atmosphere. It offers you a day out of your home and a break for your carer. Nutritious and tasty meals are provided with a choice of menu. Special dietary needs can be catered for.

Our Day Care Service aims to:

  • improve or maintain your quality of life
  • promote your independence
  • encourage friendships
  • provide social contact
  • meet your individual needs

Some Day Care offer a specialist service for people with memory problems. Staff use stimulating activities to give help and support.
