Unplanned or urgent care at home

Aberdeenshire Responders for Care at Home (ARCH) is a 24-hour service for unplanned and urgent care needs. The service is available 365 days a year.

Responder teams are based across Aberdeenshire. They work with you, and your families, to prevent a hospital admission and, once medically fit, to promote as early a discharge as possible.

To access this service call 03456 08 12 06. Sheltered housing tenants can press their pendant or use their pull cord.

By working together ARCH strives to support individuals to live independently at home.

ARCH helps:

• existing Care at Home Service users
• tenants of our Sheltered Housing schemes when the Sheltered Housing Officers are off duty
• people identified by Health and Social Care staff who have an urgent or unplanned need

ARCH supports our Care at Home Service, Sheltered Housing schemes, Virtual Community Wards, Priority Discharge and End of Life care.
