Macrae Court sheltered housing

Macrae Court Portsoy.jpgMacrae Court sheltered housing scheme is located in the small fishing village of Portsoy, only a few minutes’ walk from the harbour which overlooks the Moray Firth.

The scheme has 20 one bedroom and two two bedroom self-contained flats.

The flats have fitted kitchens, central heating and double-glazing. They are fitted with a door entry system and are connected to the community alarm system.

Facilities at the scheme include:

  • a communal lounge
  • a communal drying area

A guest bedroom is available for visiting relatives or friends to use if they don't live locally.

Regular social activities, which are organised by residents and supported by staff if needed, include:

  • whist drives
  • bus runs
  • games afternoon
  • soup and sweets
  • concerts

The local shops are just a short walk away from Macrae Court, as are the local parks and Loch Soy.
